Itinerary, Updated

Just in case you think I've come down from this ultramega high that I've been on since learning that Sleater-Kinney would be opening the second half of Pearl Jam's Canadian tour, let me assure you: I have not, and I don't anticipate coming down until somewhere around September 19. If you still haven't picked up your copy of The Woods, what are you waiting for? Until then, here's an updated itinerary for my month of September:

  • Sept. 1: System of a Down w/the Mars Volta and Bad Acid Trip at the Air Canada Centre, Toronto
  • Sept. 9: Pearl Jam w/the Supersuckers at the Fort William Gardens, Thunder Bay
  • Sept. 11: Pearl Jam w/Sleater-Kinney at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, Kitchener
  • Sept. 12: Pearl Jam w/Sleater-Kinney at the John Labatt Centre, London
  • Sept. 13: Pearl Jam w/Sleater-Kinney at Copps Coliseum, Hamilton
  • Sept. 14: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox at the Rogers Centre, Toronto
  • Sept. 15: Pearl Jam w/Sleater-Kinney at the Bell Centre, Montreal
  • Sept. 16: Pearl Jam w/Sleater-Kinney at the Corel Centre, Ottawa
  • Sept. 17: U2 at the Air Canada Centre, Toronto
  • Sept. 18: Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees at the Rogers Centre, Toronto
  • Sept. 19: Pearl Jam w/Sleater-Kinney at the Air Canada Centre, Toronto
  • Sept. 23: Les Miserables at the Princess of Wales Theatre, Toronto
  • Sept. 26: The Rolling Stones w/Beck at the Rogers Centre, Toronto

Some people travel to exotic places; me, I go to Kitchener and Thunder Bay. Wake me up before September begins.

It Just Keeps On Getting Better...

Just when I thought the month of September couldn't get any better, Pearl Jam goes and announces that Sleater-Kinney will be opening the second half of its Canadian tour...including Kitchener through Toronto, inclusive. I'm in a state of utter shock: six nights with not one, but two of my absolute favourite bands in the world?? What on earth did I do to deserve this?

Also, another addition to the itinerary: Les Miserables at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto on September 23. This summer cannot possibly go by quickly enough.
